Original purchaser must own the product and provide proof of purchase.

This warranty is extended to the original purchaser only, in the original window for which it was intended. We will not be liable for shipping charges, labour costs for measuring, disassembly, removal, reassembly, or reinstallation of this product, for damage or loss to other property, or injury to persons. This warranty applies only in respect to blinds as interior window coverings. Warranty conditions are subject to change without warning.
Faux wood blinds, real wood blinds, 1’’ and 2’’ aluminum blinds, vertical blinds, roller shades, revolve shades, vienna shades, cellular shades, roman shades, panel tracks and woven woods. This does not include shutters, motors or remotes.
From date of purchase, our warranty guarantees against original defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the blinds. This includes head rail, all moving parts, components, slats/louvers, fabric, etc. This warranty however does not cover loss of colour intensity due to prolonged exposure to sunlight and normal loss of colour over a period of time because of wear and tear. Faux wood and PVC vertical louvers must be installed 10” above and 5” in front of any electric heater(s). This warranty does not include any conditions or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, failure to follow printed instructions on installation, cleaning and care, or repairs or general wear and tear. WBF will not warrant variation in colour, grain and texture in its real wood blinds. Wood stains vary among die lots and may not exactly match sample swatches.
25 Year Shutter Warrant
WBF warrants all shutters will be free from defective materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product, provided that the product was installed properly and in accordance with the installation instructions (25 years). Shutters are intended to provide light control only and may have light lines of varying sizes between louvers. Shutters are neither intended nor guaranteed to provide black out conditions when closed. Louvers should not be left in the closed position or in the completely open position for extended periods of time. This Lifetime Limited Warranty on the frame and panels shall remain in effect only if normal cleaning practices are followed periodically.
Somfy Motors Warranty
Somfy offers end product suppliers a five (5) year warranty on all motors and controls. Specifically, Somfy warrants its motors and controls to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use for a period of five (5) years commencing with the date stamped on each product. If the Somfy product fails within this five (5) year period, Somfy will repair or replace it free of charge through your end product supplier. Batteries in the motor or remotes are not covered under warranty.
Terms and Conditions
WBF warranty is only valid for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product. This warranty does not apply if the product as a whole or any of its components fails due to accident, alteration, misuse, abuse, negligence, incorrect installation or colour fading due to sunlight. Conditions and damages caused by accidents, alterations or failure to follow instructions for measurement, installation, cleaning or maintenance are excluded from the warranty. This warranty includes labour costs if blinds are brought to our factory for repair, however a $65 trip fee (minimum charge) is not included if we have to send our installer to repair blinds on site. In addition, normal wear and tear is not covered by the warranty.
Cleaning and Care
Wood, Faux Wood or P.V.C. products can be cleaned with a damp cloth or with a duster.
Aluminum products can be cleaned with mild soapy water, a damp cloth, gentle all-purpose de-greaser or with a duster.
Cellular Shades or Viennas and any delicate fabrics can be cleaned gently with a feather duster. If debris gets caught inside the blind you can use a hair dryer on cold setting ONLY to blow out the debris. Do not use heat on these blinds, the direct intense heat will melt them and warranty will be voided.
Roman Shades occasionally might need a light vacuuming with a soft bristle attachment or gentle cleaning with a feather duster.
Vertical Fabrics are washable, however, dry cleaning is recommended.
Revolve Shades, regular light dusting with a feather duster is all the cleaning that is needed in most circumstances. Vacuuming: Use the soft brush head of the vacuum cleaner on low setting for a more thorough dust removal.
Wood Shutters can be cleaned with a feather duster or with a light vacuuming with a soft bristle attachment.
Woven Wood occasionally might need a light vacuuming with a soft brush attachment. Due to the wide variety of natural products, wet cleaning is not recommended.
